James Martin (Celebrity Chef presenter of “Stately Suppers” on BBC2) selected
Wallers’ Winners to supply "some of Herefordshire's finest cuts of beef" for the main course at Eastnor Castle.
As James also said in the programme "It's great to get Herefordshire Beef from local family butchers. I got this perfect cut of meat from Dave Waller, brilliant butchers in the heart of Ledbury. Generations of the Waller family have served customers award-winning range of local produce"
Dave has been supplying many of the finest local Hotels & Restaurants for nearly 30 years and his 2 sons Matty & Nathan are actively keeping up the Family Butcher tradition. "It was a real pleasure to discuss the finer points of preparing and cooking quality meat with James. He is both knowlegeable and demanding - knew just what he wanted! Wallers have supplied Eastnor Castle for many years. We pride ourselves on making meals special for our customers and it was great to be asked to contribute the main course for "Stately Suppers".
